The Scottsboro Animal Control Center was established in 1985.  Many improvements and procedures have developed since then and we continue to maximize our services and improve our facility.  Please feel free to browse though our Web-Page to learn more about our facility and the services that we provide.  Also, feel free to stop by and visit with us in person or by telephone!

Be sure to visit our “Adopt a Dog” page to view the dogs that we have available for adoption.

The animal shelter of the Animal Control Center receives an average of 160 unwanted dogs during the summer months and an average of 130 unwanted dogs during the rest of the year.

The Animal Control Center recommends having your dog or cat spayed or neutered to control the proliferation of the unwanted pet population.
