Patrick Stewart

Patrick Stewart was elected to Place 2 on the Scottsboro City Council on October 9, 2012.

Mr. Stewart was born in Anniston Alabama. His family moved to Scottsboro when he was six weeks old. He graduated from Scottsboro High School and attended Northeast Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in Science. He is the manager of Big C Drugs in Scottsboro.

Mr. Stewart has served on the Commercial Development Authority Board in Scottsboro and has worked with the youth in several different areas. He served as leader with the Junior Achievement Program, Assistant Wrestling Coach, and has been an active member of Friends Helping Friends since its beginning.

Mr. Stewart is married to the former Lauren Warr. She is employed by the Jackson County Board of Education in Special Education. They have four children, Ava age 7, Chloe age 6, Ethan age 6 and Mason 4 months. They are members of Scottsboro Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Stewart has committed himself to the growth of Scottsboro. He believes our city has tremendous opportunity facing it with quite a few exciting things on the horizon. He believes the city council’s involvement in development is the key to capitalizing on growth and progress.
