Based on new State of Alabama Immigration Laws, All new license and renewal applications from Individuals and Partnerships must include proof of citizenship. This information must be included with your application or the application will not be accepted and any late fees would apply. Corporations and LLC’s are not required to file proof of citizenship; but, for an individual or partnership a copy of a valid current drivers license will suffice along with a signed statement in writing that the individual is a US citizen.
Citizen Police Academy
The Scottsboro Police Department is pleased to announce that they are now taking applications for the upcoming session of the annual Citizens Police Academy. The program consist of8 weeks of hands on and classroom activities. The Academy is designed to give local citizens a better understanding of what law enforcement is all about.
